CLEARWAY specialises in the design and manufacture of specialist shaped charges for structural and pipe cutting on land or underwater. They may be used as internal or external charges in the removal of offshore platforms and structures; to internally or externally cut pipes or piles; for building and chimney demolition; and in salvage and wreck clearance.

These charges may either use proprietary copper or lead linear charges, or a special charge case designed to exactly fit the job and filled with very high velocity plastic explosive. The advantage of this type of charge is that not only will it use the minimum quantities of explosive, but the charge case (and spares) can be manufactured in one location, transported to another without any problems, and filled with explosive on site.

CLEARWAY has designed many varieties of shaped charges including:
